Brand Storytelling Audit & Roadmap.
IMPACTALE™
You have a marketing team and a budget behind it. The results just aren't matching the effort.
Your website, your social channels, your emails are all telling a story right now. The question is whether it's the right one, told consistently, in a way that makes the people you're trying to reach actually care.
We start with a discovery kickoff to understand what your organization thinks its story is. Then we find out where that story holds up and where it's losing people.
A structured process and roadmap you can use.
A Brand Storytelling Audit is a two to three week review of how your company tells its story across every channel, your website, social, email, brand photography, and video. We find what's consistent, what's contradictory, and what's missing, then hand you a roadmap that says exactly what to fix and in what order.
Discovery & Audit
Our Process
We start with a kickoff to understand what your organization thinks its story is, and who else we should talk to, including your customers. Then we review your website, social, email, and key communications, along with your brand photography and video, to find where your story is working and where it's losing people.
Story Activation
We share what we found, walk your team through the diagnosis, and spend a half day building the roadmap together. You leave with specific priorities and a sequence you can act on.
Feedback & Roadmap
We help you put the roadmap to work. That might mean supporting your team directly, training people on the messaging, or identifying the right next hire or vendor to carry it forward.
Brand storytelling is more than your messaging.
Most audits stop at copy. This one doesn't. We look at your visual storytelling too. The brand photography, video, and images your team reaches for when they need to represent you. Those choices tell a story whether you're paying attention to them or not.
We also look at consistency. The same brand story told three different ways across your website, email, and social isn't a brand story. Over two to three weeks, we map the full picture so you know exactly what to fix and in what order.
We also establish a true north. A clear standard for what highly effective marketing should look like for your company, at this stage. Your team has something to measure every future decision against.
For teams using AI to produce content, we can build a brand voice and prompt system as part of the engagement so the output sounds like you regardless of who drafted it.
Who leads the engagement
Shawn Graham has spent his career closing the gap between the brand story companies think they're telling and the one their audiences are actually receiving.
He has led brand storytelling engagements for companies, associations, and institutions across North America, including on-site visual storytelling work for major brands. He works directly with leadership and marketing teams, because that's where the real story lives and where the decisions get made.
By the end, you’ll have:
A clear diagnosis of where your story is losing people and why.
A roadmap your team can act on, covering messaging, visual storytelling, and the communications you rely on every day.
A path forward, whether that means working with us or knowing exactly what to hand off and to whom.

A comprehensive review of how your company tells its story across every channel, your website, social, email, brand photography, and video. We find what's consistent, what's contradictory, and what's missing, then build a roadmap that says exactly what to fix and in what order.
-
Companies that have a marketing team and a real budget behind it, but the results aren't matching the effort. If your website, emails, and social are each telling a slightly different story, or you can't say what your marketing should be measured against, that's the gap this closes.
-
Two to three weeks, from the discovery kickoff to the finished roadmap.
-
Two things set it apart. It goes past copy into visual storytelling, the photography and video that carry your brand whether anyone planned them or not. And it ends by setting a true north, a clear standard for what strong marketing should look like for your company at this stage, so every future decision has something to measure against.
-
We help you put it to work. Depending on what your team needs, that means supporting them directly, training people on the messaging, or pointing you to the right next hire or vendor to carry it forward.

The Brand Storytelling Audit starts at $1,500. We'll confirm the exact scope and cost with you before the work begins.
